THE UNIRIGID BASE BELT

transverse rigidity and longitudinal flexibility

UNIRIGID is a special belt used for transporters and it is a casing which is designed with very distinct advantages in mind. Choosing UNIGRID gives users the same transverse rigidity and longitudinal flexibility, which makes it ideal for the application of sidewalls and cleats. It also guarantees stability in slope changes, eliminates possible damage to the belt during in the return stage and does not lose engine power. All these come together to ensure greater durability to your transporter. The stiffness of the base material is provided by the combination of EP (polyester and nyloncanvases, special canvases of various materials and the combination of thicknesses.

The choice of the base belt must be made according to the needs of your conveyor:

EM - The belt carcass consists of crosswise stiff plies only. This is ideal for low- to medium-level jobs.

XE - The belt structure consists of a combination of EP plies and 2 transversely rigid nylon canvases placed above and below the original EP core. This gives a high rigidity and a good workload for the belt base. Suitable for a medium to heavy work.

XESC - The belt's structure is made up of a combination of EP canvases and 2 crosswise stiff nylon plies, placed above and below the original EP core. This provides a firm, high rigidity value and allows the belt to bear a considerable workload. Suitable for heavy work with fair heights.

XEST - The belt's basic make-up consists of a combination of metal frames and 2 transversely rigid metal plies placed above and below the original metal core. This also provides very high rigidity and a high workload, with very low elongation. Suitable for heavy work with considerable heights.

Once you have chosen the type of construction for the base belt, you will need to choose the type of compound as well.

You should base this decision on the characteristics of the material you want to transport:

Y - abrasion resistant

HR - high temperature resistant

OIL - resistant to oil

X - resistant to abrasion and cutting

K - self-extinguishing

White - white, suitable for contact with foodstuff
