The choice of containment sidewalls for use in the industrial sector depends on the choice of cleats.
The sidewall must necessarily be higher than the cleat and, based on this it may or may not have inner EP textile reinforcement. Our sidewalls are molded from a high-quality, ozone-resistant and weather-resistant compound with excellent elasticity, high tensile strength and high resistance to abrasion. These technical features combined with the hot application of the base belt result in greater vertical stability. Excellent longitudinal flexibility is also thanks to exceptional sine wave geometry in the specially designed upper part.
This feature allows the sidewall to work well on the return cycle, i.e. where the sidewall is more prone to stress due to the continuous movement of the rollers. The sinusoidal geometry prevents the rollers from breaching the sidewalls, thus avoiding bending or breakages. Finally, a solid base gives the sidewall extra anchorage and security and helps to increase its longevity.
The base design also allows the containment edge to be pressed on both sides during application.
